Corner of 3rd Avenue South and Kings Hwy. 17 from the 60's to the mid 90's, John Branton and family welcomed locals, and tourist alike to Brant's for their popular 19 cent Burgers and Shakes. Serving up deliciously different burgers, hot dogs, fried chicken, and ice cream, Brant's became a Grand Strand "meet and eat" tradition. Whether you Takeout or Eat in, you couldn't beat the price! After Mr. Branton sold Brant's the building was moved across 3rd Ave South (facing the famous Swamp Fox Roller Coaster at Family Kingdom). The original location is now occupied by Wings Beachwear.
